The summer might be over for some but the heat isn’t. Ditch your hair tie and put your hair up with a faux bob!

Want a ” Bob” but don’t want to cut your hair off, heres how to do it!

~Your hair can be dirty( better if it is).

~ Curl your hair with what ever size curling iron you choose.

~ Mess up your curls with a comb or brush( tease, make messy).

~ Pin ends up with bobby pins and create your own bob!

Today is a very special day, it is the beautiful and talented Sarah Renne’s birthday!!. Wish her a good one! What would we do without her and what would san diego do without her amazing talent.

What an amazing saturday at the salon today. I was thinking we all have people who inspire us, usually its people we can not get in contact with… For some it might have been Elvis and others it could be Lady Gaga.. Today I walked into work looked around and a smile came onto my face because not only am I at work but I am surrounded by people who are my friends, my colleagues, my bosses, they might not know but they are all inspirations. If we all opened our eyes and looked around at the people we call friends or family they may also be an inspiration.

Work hard Play hard

We had an amazing week at the salon. One of our stylists Julie did a male grooming class and taught us her tricks she preforms to keep her male clients coming back!

Today Misty Brown ( stylist and network educator) filmed a segment in our salon called ” Hot in our salon” for aol!! She preformed the ” beach Bum” look we learned in New York while we visited Bumble and Bumble University a couple weeks ago. Our model was good friend Ashley Bisping who pulls off the look amazingly! I will post pictures up asap!

Its going to be a great weekend i can tell!!

I found myself day dreaming alot this past weekend. sitting there not really doing anything but thinking. I felt like i was wasting time and my day doing so. Then I thought it might have been the best thing i have actually done in a while.

The city you live in, the place you call “home”… make the best of it, go outside and take advantage of what you have..

Join the fun that is being taken place in north park this weekend. North Park Music Thing is being taken place all day. A great new way to find new music, meet new people and check out this amazing community. Come in and say ” Hi” have a Wheat Grass shot and look at the great new art we just put up. We had an amazing class today taught by the lovely Misty Brown. Nothing better than starting off the day by being inspired by your peers.

Me and misty recently went to New York to attend the Bumble and Bumble University and took an amazing color class. I will soon post pictures and details about the class, our trips and the adventures that took place! This weekend in North Park is the North Park Music festival! make sure to check it out, its going to be a really fun time.
